Beverly J. Wilson, 82, of DuBois died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014 at Christ the King Manor.
She was born March 6, 1932 in Reynoldsville, the daughter of the late Clifford and Elizabeth (Guthrie) Swan. On July 21, 1962, she married Andrew P. Wilson, who survives.
She was a 1950 graduate of Sykesville High School. She was employed by Sylvania Electronics. She was Protestant by faith and a Girl Scouts leader.
She’s survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Andrew Wilson, of DuBois; a daughter, Lisa and her husband, Alan Schmidt of Aliquippa; four grandchildren, Joshua Lavery, Justin Lavery, Alyssa Schmidt and Jacob Schmidt; a brother, Donald Swan of DuBois; and a sister, Barbara Wilson of DuBois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leroy Swan.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc. with the Rev. Leon Blose officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. An additional hour of viewing will be held on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
