WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into a fire that caused more than $200,000 worth of damage to a residence and garage at 1373 Sandstone Rd., Washington Township.
The fire started at 3 a.m. Monday in an attached garage and quickly progressed through the residence. The residence and garage belonged to Matthew J. Shaw, 39, of Falls Creek, according to the state police at DuBois.
The cause of the fire, state police said, hasn’t been determined at this time.
