Reynoldsville Man Jailed on Drug-Related Charges

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – A 57-year-old Reynoldsville man, Charles Kenneth Leach, was jailed Saturday on drug-related charges, according to the state police at DuBois.

Leach was allegedly found to be in possession of 54 marijuana plants that had just been harvested. Also, he was allegedly found with approximately 25 grams of processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia and tools used to harvest marijuana, said state police.

Leach was arraigned and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail. State police were assisted by officers with the Pennsylvania Game Commission in a Gamelands parking lot on O’Donnell Road in Winslow Township.

State police said a second suspect is a Caucasian male who stands approximately 6 feet tall and who weighs 160 – 170 pounds. He’s about 30 – 35 years old with blondish-brown hair. The male, state police said, was possibly wearing a white T-shirt and light/faded color blue jeans.

The second male fled the area on foot, state police said. Anyone with information about the identity of the male is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
