BELLEFONTE – A comprehensive introduction to government contracting will be offered in Bellefonte on Oct. 9.
Wessell & Company, business consultants from Johnstown, will present Federal Contracting MBA, training for small businesses that want to understand more about federal contracting.
The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the offices of the Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority, 253 Transfer Rd. The registration fee is $20 and individuals may register online at http://bit.ly/1m89kAn.
Key concerns for government contractors will be discussed including common mistakes and how to perform successfully on a government contract. Additional topics include:
- Ensuring Compliance with Federal Contracts ? current contract reform and requirements, trends, and hot button issues
- Teaming Arrangements/Prime and Subcontract Relationships ? opportunities for subcontracts, subcontracting risks, oversight and flow-down provisions
