Eva M. Turner, 74, of Hawk Run died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 at her home.
Born Aug. 6, 1940 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Ferry) Pettinato.
She married Kenneth L. Turner on Jan. 13, 1965 in New Jersey; he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2010.
Mrs. Turner was a Christian by faith. She was employed as a certified nurse’s aide at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield until her retirement.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank J. Paulette and a brother. John.
Mrs. Turner is survived by five daughters, Jeanine Emigh and her husband, Edward of Hawk Run, Jackqueline Mostyn and her husband, Paul of Hudson, rural Philipsburg, Ava Selepack and her husband, Daniel of Allport, Kelly Swartout and her husband, Wesley of Stroudsburg and Kennie Williams and her husband, David of Tyrone and a son, Joseph Turner and his wife, Barbara of New Brunswick, NJ.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Kenneth Emigh, Ryan Mostyn and his fiancée, Jayde Miller, Kelly Jo Thompson and her husband, Justin, Brandon Selepack, Morgan Selepack, Eva Marie Swartout, Lily Williams, Dane Williams, Jack Williams, Max Williams and Jessica Turner and a great-grandson, Easton.
At Mrs. Turner’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg.
