1994 reunion, new videoboards and team arrival debut at Beaver Stadium opener

It will be a memorable day on Saturday when Penn State (1-0) opens its 55th season in Beaver Stadium, hosting Akron (1-0) at noon. James Franklin, named Penn State’s 16th head football coach in January, will be coaching his first game on the Beaver Stadium sidelines on Saturday. During the game, there will be a community heroes recognition.
