CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, has announced the recent graduation of Abigail L. Belinda from the bank’s management training program.

The program was developed to provide knowledge of CNB’s banking fundamentals. The training consists of both in-house classroom and on-the-job learning experiences.

Trainees are assigned a specified amount of time in each department of the bank in order to observe and serve in various capacities, thus acquiring a working knowledge of individual operations and management styles. This structured program lasts for a period of six months.

Belinda is a 2009 graduate of the Clearfield High School and a 2013 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She started her career at CNB in 2010 as a seasonal teller, working during her summer breaks from college and later as a universal associate.

She began the bank’s management training program in November of 2013 and completed the program in June. She has since been promoted to community office assistant manager at the bank’s Old Town Road branch in Clearfield.

In her position, she will be responsible for providing personalized service to customers, as well as managing the daily operations for the bank’s branch office located at 1231 S. Second St., Clearfield.

The Clearfield native has worked on numerous community initiatives, including fundraising for the A-T Children’s Project and work with the Living Bread Food Ministry and Clearfield Downtown Beautification Day.

Belinda is also a fine arts leader, community band member and a worship team member at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.

“Abigail’s involvement in our community and positive attitude, combined with her thorough understanding of CNB’s banking options through her management training, make her a terrific asset to CNB,” said Bower. “I know she will work daily to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
