Irma G. Clark, 89, of Pottersdale died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Dec. 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Caroline Stroup Ditty. She was a 1942 graduate of the Cooper Township High School.
Mrs. Clark drove school bus for more than two decades.
She was married to George J. Clark, who preceded her in death.
She’s survived by one daughter, Marilyn J. Johnson and her husband, Victor of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren, Andrea, Kyle, Suzanne, Chris and Richard; and five great-grandchildren.
She’s also survived by two sisters, Caroline Mersch of Urbandale, Iowa and Letha Plubell of Morrisdale and one brother, Theodore “Ted” Ditty and his wife, Edna of Calhoun, MO.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be private and burial will be in the Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, Karthaus.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale.
