CLEARFIELD – A DuBois man has pleaded guilty to selling marijuana in Clearfield County Court.

Thomas W. Kiehlmeier, 28, 112 S. Jared St., DuBois, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance-marijuana, criminal use of communication facility and possession of drug paraphernalia in two cases.

He was sentenced by Judge Paul E. Cherry to 90 days to one year in jail and two years consecutive probation.

In a third case, he pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana. For this he was sentenced to one year concurrent probation.

He was fined a total of $1,050 plus costs. He must complete drug and alcohol counseling. Because of the felony charges, he must submit to DNA testing at a cost of $250.

According to the affidavits of probable cause, an informant arranged to purchase marijuana from Kiehlmeier and on July 18, 2012 the undercover agent and informant met with Keihlmeier on West Long Avenue in DuBois.

Keihlmeier got into the back seat of their vehicle and asked the agent to drive around the block. While they did this, Kiehlmeier pulled out a plastic bag of marijuana for which the agent gave him $50. He stated he was “out” and needed to get more. Kiehlmeier was driven back to the spot where he was picked up, and he got out of the vehicle.

On Aug. 2, 2012 an undercover agent and informant arranged another purchase from Kiehlmeier. They met him at the parking lot of Julio’s on West Washington Avenue in DuBois. Kiehlmeier got into their vehicle and again asked them to drive around the block. He handed the agent a plastic bag of marijuana in exchange for $50. They then dropped off Kiehlmeier at the Salvation Army.
