Seferina, Thompson star, but Spikes fall to Scrappers

New York-Penn League All-Star Darren Seferina and Nick Thompson each collected three hits for the State College Spikes, but the Mahoning Valley Scrappers shut out the Spikes to pick up a 5-0 win on Tuesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
