CLEARFIELD – Twelve winning photographs were recently selected to be featured in the 2015 CNB Bank wall calendars.

Local residents, whether beginner, amateur or professional photographers, were encouraged to submit one or two of their photos via the bank’s Web site over the past two months.

The 2015 calendar features local photos with a “Railroad” theme.  Nearly 200 entries were received; however, one stood out as Judge’s Best of Show, which was submitted by Elizabeth Behan of Bradford.

Behan’s photo, entitled “Railroad Crossing,” will be featured on the cover of the 2015 wall calendars, as well as inside the calendar for the month of April. The other 11 months of the year will feature photographs submitted by James Olmstead of New Florence, Renee Shimel Hall of Morrisdale, Cathie Ensminger and Carolyn Smeal of Clearfield, Chris Lasher of Brookville, Kevin Mills of Huntingdon, Erika Patrick of Munson, Nancy Pascarella of Bradford, Joshua Sykes of Woodland, R. Thomas Berner of Bellefonte and Terry Werneth of Meadville.

In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar.  Those photographs were taken by Steve Bauer, Brian Beish, R. Thomas Berner, Timothy Cline, Margaret Conaway, Todd Dixon, Cathie Ensminger, Jen Fannin, Joe Fuoco, Kim Geist, Greg Harris, Edward Hughes, Kelly Keller, Sammi Langianese, Larry Laird, Tammy Lukens, Kevin Mills, Erika Patrick, Craig Sattesahn, Sonia Shimko, Tiffany Shoffner, Dana Voigt and Terry Werneth.

CNB would like to thank all individuals who submitted an entry, which makes the calendar popular among customers. CNB Bank initiated the contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which it serves through the eyes of residents, as they’ve captured with their camera and continued due to its success.

The winning photos can be viewed by visiting the bank’s Web site, www.BankCNB.com. Calendars will be available to pick up at all CNB branch locations after Nov. 1.
