Joseph C. “Bugsy” McCully, 66, of Highspire and formerly of Curwensville, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at his residence.
Born Aug. 2, 1947 in Clearfield, he was the son of Clifford Lawrence and Mary Rose (Orlando) McCully. He was a salesman for more than 30 years in the automotive and home improvement industries.
He was Catholic by faith.
He’s survived by a daughter, Melissa Ciko of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Tyler Nesbitt of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mary Ann Helm of Highspire; two brothers, C. Patric McCully of Philipsburg and Stephen D. McCully and his wife, Carol of Clearfield; and a nephew, James Gary Jacobs Jr. and his wife, Leslie of Camp Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private funeral services will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating. Burial will be held in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
