Florida Georgia Line Rocks Clearfield Fair

CLEARFIELD – American country pop duo, Florida Georgia Line, rocked the grandstand stage last night before a sea of fans at the Clearfield County Fair.

Florida Georgia Line burst into the country spotlight with the release of their 2012 multi-platinum selling single, “Cruise.” The song soared to the top of the charts and sold more than 6.3 million downloads.

“Cruise” was the debut single from their freshman album, “Here’s to the Good Times.” The album stayed at No. 1 for eight weeks last summer. Singers/songwriters Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley also have hit songs in “Get Your Shine On” and “Stay.”

Chris Lane, who hails from Kernersville, NC, opened last night’s show. He started to play live shows after the end of his collegiate baseball career.

In recent years, Lane played more than 500 shows. He’s opened for acts, such as Florida Georgia Line, The Band Perry, The Eli Young Band, Chris Young, Brantley Gilbert and others.

Lane stayed long after the end of his fair performance to sign autographs and to meet fans.
