Richard L. McNally Sr., 77, of DuBois died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born May 23, 1937, he was the son of the late Patrick and Esther (Woodman) McNally.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.
On June 5, 1959, he married Prudence May (Whaling) McNally. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2014.
He retired from Claster’s Lumber after 25 years. Prior to that, he worked for the city of DuBois and the DuBois Brewery.
He’s survived by his children, Richard McNally Jr. and his wife, Kathy of DuBois and Randee P. Pierce and her husband, Scott of Ardmore, Okla. and 10 grandchildren, Nathan Wagner, Matthew McNally and his wife, Tara, Daniel McNally, Chelsea Connor, Jordan Pierce, Brandon Wagner, Joseph McNally, Chantel Connor, Joseph Pierce, and Sara McNally and a great-grandchild, Bambi Wagner.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Rebecca Wagner and Rhonda Sue Connor.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home.
