Judith Ann Beveridge, 81, of Altoona died Monday, July 28, 2014 at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.
She was born June 1, 1933, in Madera, the daughter of the late David and Christeen (Swartz) Beveridge.
She was Presbyterian by faith. She retired from the accounting department of Richard King Mellon Foundation in Pittsburgh after many years of service. She also was co-owner of the former Christy Ann Floral and Gift Shop of Madera.
She was a member of the Red Hats Society and the Calico Quilting Group, both of Altoona. She enjoyed reading, quilting, doing crafts, knitting and crocheting. Most especially she enjoyed helping people and her pets.
She’s survived by cousins, Yolanda Burns (Tim) of Harrisburg; Lee Jackson (Barbara) of Carmillus, NY; Sandra Wood (Harry) of Nova Scotia; Frank Swartz (Mary Ann) of Ginter; Ida Kipp (Paul) of Lewistown and Peg Hudson (Bill) of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
At her request, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
