State police at DuBois
- An incident of theft occurred July 24-25 in the 8000 block of Route 219 in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed an old plow and milk jug from the victim’s residence.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of disorderly conduct and harassment occurred Tuesday in the 600 block of East Locust Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 45-year-old Philipsburg woman allegedly started screaming at the victim and calling her obscene words. The woman also alarmed nearby neighbors, state police said.
- An incident of harassment occurred Sunday in the 300 block of Union Street in Unionville Borough. During the incident, the victim and the accused allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical. The accused allegedly grabbed and pushed the victim. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of someone at a local motel with animals in a vehicle. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
- Police assisted with an illegal burning complaint on Wrigley Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged suspicious/intoxicated person at the Dutch Pantry. Upon arrival police handled the situation at the scene.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person/suspected overdose in the area of state Route 879 and Industrial Park Road. Police made contact with the person who was transported by emergency personnel from the scene.
- Police received a report about someone who refused to leave the Economy Inn. The matter was resolved prior to police arrival.
- Police received a report about a hard drive that was allegedly stolen from a computer. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about loud music and a disturbance on Robinson Avenue. The incident, police said, was handled at the scene.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a burning complaint on Thursday.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person on Friday. Upon investigation police found the person was permitted at a State Street address.
- Police will provide extra patrols due to speeding in the Windy Hill area.
- Police would like to remind motorists to obey parking regulations. The most common infraction, police said, is parking against traffic.
- Police assisted with traffic control after an accident in the area of Hogback Road and SR 879.
- Police assisted with an overdose patient Tuesday on Filbert Street.
- Police received a report about people yelling on Tuesday in the area of George Street. Police warned the people of their actions.
- Police received a report about a property dispute on McNaul Street. Further, police related that debris blocked a driveway.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary in progress Monday in the 300 block of Pifer Street. Upon arrival the victim told police he heard someone inside of his residence. When he checked, he observed two slender males who were running outside. Police searched the area with negative contact with the males.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft from a vehicle Tuesday at the Sheetz store on North Brady Street. The victim told police that while she was inside, someone stole her wallet from out of her vehicle. Upon investigation police recovered the wallet and identified a suspect. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- On Tuesday, police received a report about a woman who was allegedly chasing a man with a stun gun in the 300 block of West Long Avenue. Upon arrival police found the couple had engaged in an argument. The woman allegedly used the stun gun on the man who tried to flee from her. However, while he was fleeing, the woman allegedly continued to stun the man on his back. The woman, police said, was arrested for assault.
- Police received a report about an intoxicated male who was allegedly knocking on random apartment doors Wednesday in the 300 block of West Long Avenue. The male, police said, made lewd comments to people when they answered their door. Police made contact with the male while he was standing in the middle of the roadway. The male was found to be intoxicated and cited for public drunkenness.
- During the week of July 20 through July 26, police investigated three traffic accidents and issued 43 traffic citations and 10 written traffic warnings.
