FOX TOWNSHIP – A St. Marys man, David M. Terwilliger, was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday on Shelvey Summit Road west of Main Street Extension in Fox Township, reported the state police at Ridgway.
Terwilliger was traveling northbound when he lost control of his motorcycle. It exited the roadway, striking an embankment and becoming airborne. After that, the motorcycle overturned several times; Terwilliger was ejected from it, state police said.
Terwilliger was not wearing a helmet, according to state police. State police were assisted at the scene by the Elk County Coroner and the Fox Township Fire Department and Ambulance Service.
