Roy C. Freeman, 55, of Coalport died Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his residence.
Born May 26, 1959 in Weirton, W.Va., he was the son of the late Cameron and Frances (Tabor) Freeman.
He graduated in 1977 from the Glendale High School. He was a heavy equipment operator for Glenn O. Hawbaker of State College for more than 23 years.
He was a member of the Blain City VFW, the Janesville VFW, the Madera MOOSE, the Smoke Run Croatian Club and the Glendale Sportsmen’s Club.
On Dec. 31, 2012 in the Irvona Presbyterian Church, he married Donna “Jackie” (Delfosse) Baughman Freeman, who survives of Coalport.
He’s survived by two sons, Glen C. Freeman (Samantha) of Laramie, Wyo.; Michael D. Freeman of Glen Hope; and his wife’s two sons, Glenn Baughman (Beth Ann) of Bear, Del. and Brian Baughman of New Jersey.
He is also survived by his wife’s grandchildren, Rachell, Ryan, Lauren, Alexis and Maddison.
Mr. Freeman loved the outdoors, gardening and feeding the birds; however, he especially enjoyed riding his Harley.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
A funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roland R. Emond Jr. officiating.
Mr. Freeman’s wife would like to thank her family, friends, neighbors and hospice staff for all their loving support.
