Torin Robert Verbeck, 27, of Philipsburg died Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Philipsburg.
Born Nov. 14, 1986 in Clearfield, he was the son of Robert L. Verbeck Jr. and Kimberlee A. (Culp) Verbeck of Philipsburg.
Mr. Verbeck was a member of the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg. He was a 2005 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was a laborer.
Mr. Verbeck was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Martin Sibley and Pauline Culp, Norman and Florence Verbeck and Agnes Hill.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kendre A. Verbeck-Myers and her husband, Nathan Myers of Clarksville, Tenn.; his maternal grandparents, William and Peg Culp of Chester Hill; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Cheryln Verbeck of South Philipsburg; and his great-grandparents, Oliver and Dorothy Smeal of Philipsburg.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Mark Thumma officiating.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. Thursday until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home.
