Centre County Bridge Work Continues

STATE COLLEGE – Traffic pattern changes will begin this week as bridge preservation work continues in Centre County.

Three different sites will see new or continuing work as noted below. Once rehabilitation work is complete, area drivers will enjoy safer travel on bridges that will remain in service for years to come.

Starting the week of July 14, drivers will encounter restrictions at the following locations:

This work is part of a $2.2 million contract to preserve five bridges in Centre County, with all work weather and schedule dependent. Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College is the contractor on this project. The other two bridges include:

Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, move through work zones with caution and always buckle up.
