TREASURE LAKE – Beautiful weather canopied the kick-off of Music Fest 2014 at the Treasure Lake Ski Lodge on Friday night.

Nikki Sbaffoni performed first with a set of original songs. She also fielded requests from audience members.

The Rum Dums, the Ski Lodge’s house band, played next and featured a line-up of fan favorites. The band closed with a cover of The Darkness, “I Believe in a Thing Called Love,” which created a high energy atmosphere.

When the Glimmer Twins, a Rolling Stones tribute band, took the stage, there were uncanny resemblances to Jagger and Richards. It was a detailed musical and visual recreation for the audience.

The Avenue performed on the indoor stage after the main show.  The band consists of five local musicians who have been performing together for more than 15 years.  The Avenue set included rock classics, as well as today’s latest music.

On Saturday, Music Fest will feature The Gin Blossoms with Anthony Gomes and The Charlie Wheeler Trio.  The Bottom Shelf Band will perform inside on the VIP stage.
