Pearl E. Springborn, 82, of Brockway died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 2, 1931 in Marquette, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Francis and Pearl (Huelett) Smith.
She worked for White Haines in Columbus, Ohio for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She’s survived by her children, Chris Springborn and his wife, Kahne of Loveland, OH, Sally Crooks and her husband, Donald of Chillcothe, Ohio; Debra Kohlhepp and her husband, Benjamin of Falls Creek and Tammy Jewell and her husband, Donald of DuBois.
She’s also survived by a brother, Francis Smith of Neogia, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Daniel Kohlhepp, Julia Gallegos, John Kohlhepp, Tyler Amos, Ashley Higgins, Trevor Amos, Cas Springborn and Clayton Jewell); and four great-grandchildren, Mateo and Chavez Gallegos, Parker Higgins and Truitt Kohlhepp.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lon Springborn; a grandson, Christopher Jewell; and two brothers, Arthur Smith and John Huelett.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service for friends and family of Pearl E. Springborn will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the chapel at Morningside Cemetery with Pastor Donald Crooks officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
