Decatur Twp. Fire Damages Mobile Home

DECATUR TOWNSHIP – A fire has been ruled accidental in nature that damaged a mobile home Thursday at 60 Roxby Ln. in Decatur Township, reported the state police at Ridgway

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Philipsburg Fire Department investigated the fire, which “significantly damaged” the mobile home. Damage, state police said, is estimated at $30,000.

Arthur Roxby, 72, of Philipsburg owned the mobile home. It was occupied by Melissa and David Brady and a juvenile male. No one was home at the time of the fire, according to state police.

State police noted there weren’t any injuries but five dogs perished in the fire.
