Schumacher’s strong start leads Spikes to 4-1 win

Cody Schumacher pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings and allowed just one hit for his first professional win as the Spikes topped the Brooklyn Cyclones, 4-1, on Thursday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
