CLEARFIELD – The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library’s “Fizz, Boom, Read!” summer reading program continued when Adam Swartz Puppets presented “The Great Bug-tacular Game Show.”
Children and adults served as game show contestants while answering science- and bug-themed questions from game show host and puppet Joe. Throughout the remainder of the week, youth participants made ice cream, created an insect using a variety of craft pieces and listened to a presentation by AmeriHealth Caritas on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Judy Ann Davis conducted a book signing and presentation to adult participants on her latest book, and young adults met local author Samantha Boulton. A number of events are offered next week as part of the “Fizz, Boom, Read!” summer reading program.
