CNB Bank to Feature Local Photography in Calendar

CLEARFIELD – Due to the positive response from participants and customers, the 2015 CNB Bank wall calendars will again feature photographs of western Pennsylvania.

This year’s theme will be the “railroad.”  Examples of photographs depicting the theme would be train stations, crossings/signs, any landscapes with a train passing or train tracks, etc.

Local residents who are beginner, amateur or professional photographers are encouraged to submit one or two of their photographs online at www.BankCNB.com.  Photographs can be submitted through Aug. 1.

On Aug. 6, 13 winners, including a Best of Show, and 24 honorable mentions will be selected. The photographs will then be printed in the bank’s 2015 wall calendars.

The new CNB Bank wall calendars will be distributed to customers in November.  The winners will be announced on Aug. 8.

CNB Bank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which it serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.

“Over the years we’ve received fantastic entries of landscapes, animals and photos depicting hometown pride,” said Joe Bower, president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank.

“By featuring ‘Railroads’ for the 2015 calendar, we hope to provide a calendar of photos to our customers that they can cherish and that depicts a sense of how the railroad industry is a part of our communities.”

CNB is now accepting submissions on its Web site.  Each entrant can submit up to two photographs.

For details on the contest and photo requirements, visit www.BankCNB.com. From there, click on the calendar contest link under the Community Involvement headline.

CNB would like to encourage everyone to participate and wishes all photographers, beginner to professional, the best of luck.
