Expect Delays Wednesday as Route 322 Bridge Work Continues

Delays likely Boalsburg to Potters Mills

STATE COLLEGE – Route 322 delays between Boalsburg and Potters Mills can be expected this week as bridge preservation work continues in the area.

On Wednesday, crews will be re-setting temporary barrier and re-painting roadway lines for a Route 322 bridge that spans Sinking Creek near the SPCA, east of Boalsburg.

The barrier allows PennDOT to shift traffic away from the work area on the bridge. An alternating traffic pattern will be enforced by flaggers.

The barrier enforces a 10-foot width restriction that will be in place until Aug. 21. Work will include structure repairs, beam encapsulation, and miscellaneous repairs.

Message boards in the area will give drivers advanced warning of restrictions and delays. Drivers are reminded to be alert for flaggers in the roadway, obey posted speed limits, move through work zones with caution and always buckle up.
