Spikes’ bats stifled in 8-2 loss to Crosscutters

Williamsport Crosscutters starter David Whitehead held the State College Spikes without a hit over his six innings on the mound, and Nick Thompson’s first professional home run was one of just two hits for the Spikes in an 8-2 loss to the Crosscutters on Sunday night at Susquehanna Bank Park at Historic Bowman Field.
