9 a.m., The DuBois Community Days Show of Strength Day will be located on the Penelec stage.

11 a.m., The First United Methodist Church of DuBois’ Sonny Days Pre-school ministry will offer free train rides for young children near the American Legion stage.

11 a.m., Tim Britton Construction Services Inc. will sponsor the LEGO Building Contest behind the First Methodist tent.

11:45 a.m., There will be a competition among Drum & Bugle Corps from around the eastern United States. They will compete against each other at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.

12, p.m., There will be free swimming, water games and other activities at the City Pool until 5 p.m.

12 p.m., Face Paint Pittsburgh will create various designs on faces in the Christ the King Manor tent.

12:15 p.m., Fans are invited to the live question-and-answer session with former Pittsburgh Penguin Phil Bourque, “The Ol’ Two-Niner.” He will be on the American Legion stage with an autograph and photo-op session to follow.

1 p.m., Fun Land, Wacky World Obstacle Course, Party Bouncer, Wave of Fire Slide, Make Your Own Street Sign and Joustman will open for children’s enjoyment.

1 p.m., The Rock ‘N Roll Pet Show will be located at the Christ the King Manor tent in the park.

1 p.m., Penn Highlands Healthcare invites festivalgoers to bring a camera and to meet PBS favorite, the Cat in the Hat. He will walk through the park near the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.

1:30 p.m., The Elephant Encounter is back at Community Days. It’s been six years since festivalgoers have last seen Shannon and Cora. They will be located near the blue restrooms next to the Cherry Amphitheater.

1:30 p.m., Scot Nery, a Los Angeles comedian, contortion and juggler will perform his street show in the area around the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.

2 p.m., Face Paint Pittsburgh will create various designs on faces in the Christ the King Manor tent.

2 p.m., There will be a competition among Drum & Bugle Corps from around the eastern United States at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.

2:15 p.m., Mad Chad Taylor will perform his stage show on the American Legion stage. This world-record holder has been seen on insurance TV commercials.

3 p.m., Balloon twisting by Magic Mike will be on the Penelec stage.

3:30 p.m., Festivalgoers can hoop dance with Theresa. She will give lessons and then amaze with demonstrations on the Penelec stage.

4 p.m., There will be high energy Rock ‘N Roll by Remedy X on the American Legion stage.

4:20 p.m., The Elephant Encounter is back at Community Days. It’s been six years since festivalgoers have last seen Shannon and Cora. They will be located near the blue restrooms next to the Cherry Amphitheater.

4:30 p.m., Magic David will perform his street show near the Penelec stage.

5 p.m., The city’s fire siren will sound; the firemen’s parade begins.

6 p.m., Fun Land, Wacky World Obstacle Course, Party Bouncer, Wave of Fire Slide, Make Your Own Street Sign and Joustman will open for children’s enjoyment.

7:30 p.m., Mad Chad Taylor will perform his stage show on the American Legion stage; this world-record holder has been seen on insurance TV commercials.

7:45 p.m., The parade may be over; however, there are awards to be given at the Penelec stage.

8:15 p.m., The Company Men, “America’s First Mashup Group, will perform their unusual mix of old and new at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater.

8:30 p.m., Magic David will perform his stage show near the Penelec stage.

9:20 p.m., Scot Nery, a Los Angeles comedian, contortion and juggler, will perform his stage show on the American Legion stage.

9:30 p.m., Theresa will perform a lighted hoop dance on the Penelec stage.

9:30 p.m., There will be a giant fireworks display presented by the World Famous Zambelli’s, the ?rst family of ?reworks. The fireworks will be launched in the City Park.

10 p.m., The 23rd Community Days in the Park closes.
