Debbie S. Gill, 53, of Clearfield died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
She was born July 29, 1960 in Grove City, a daughter of Charles E. and Elizabeth M. (Hedglin) Peters of Clearfield. She was Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her long-time companion, Kenneth ‘Sonny’ Edwards of Clearfield; three children, Valerie Gill of Brockway, Kenneth Edwards of California and Sonny Joe Edwards of Clearfield; and a granddaughter, Laine Edwards.
She’s survived by two sisters, Linda Pilch and her husband, Joseph of Brockway and Rita Hemphill and her husband, George of St. Cloud, Fla.; three brothers, Charles Peters Jr. and his wife, Bonnie and Larry Peters, both of Clearfield, and Daniel Peters of Hubbard, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three nephews, a niece, and a grand-nephew.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St., Clearfield.
