State police at DuBois
- An incident of assault/harassment occurred Wednesday at a Jackson Street residence in Reynoldsville Borough. During the incident, two people allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that became physical in nature. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- An incident of simple assault occurred Monday on Baxter Street in Reynoldsville Borough. During the incident, a 24-year-old Reynoldsville man allegedly returned home in an intoxicated state and engaged in an argument with the victims before assaulting them. Upon the arrival of state police, he allegedly continued to be aggressive and had to be subdued with a taser. He was taken into custody and charged with simple assault, harassment and resisting arrest. The man is currently housed at the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of disorderly conduct occurred Monday on Fourth Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 21-year-old Philipsburg woman allegedly repeatedly pounded on a residential door while shouting obscenities at the occupants. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle occurred Monday at the Philipsburg Towers parking lot on North Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. Any person who parked there and believes coin money was stolen from their vehicle is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a loose dog in the Mount Zion area. The dog allegedly attacked another dog, and police contacted animal control about the incident.
- Police received a report about an automatic burglary alarm at a local business.
- Police provided public assistance at a local establishment.
- Police received a report about a suspicious elderly female at the Hyde light.
- Police received a report about a stolen iPhone from the Clearfield Area High School Field House. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police were requested for extra patrols.
- Police received a report about possible drug items found at a local establishment.
- Police were requested to assist with prisoners from a state facility.
- Police received a report about a possible drunken motorist traveling westbound on U.S. Route 322 into the Clearfield area. Police obtained vehicle information but were unable to make contact with the motorist.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct on Smith Street. Further, police made contact with the suspect and advised them to keep the noise down.
- Police responded to the Lawrence Park Village for a male who had allegedly broken a window to an apartment. Charges are currently pending at this time.
Curwensville Borough
- After conducting a traffic stop Wednesday morning on Mary Lane, police found drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- A Curwensville man was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail after a traffic stop on Ridge Avenue on Tuesday evening. The man is awaiting transport to Dauphin County due to a warrant for his arrest.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Monday in the 500 block of Pifer Street. The victim told police that four to five gallons of gas was stolen from his vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Monday in the 200 block of East Second Avenue. The victim told police that furniture from the residence was damaged by a known male. Police made contact with the male who admitted to damaging the furniture. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Monday on South Main Street. The victim told police that supplies were delivered to his residence and stolen from the porch. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about an alarm Tuesday at a local business in the 300 block of South Main Street. Upon arrival police found the business to be secured. However, police couldn’t search inside, as the key holder didn’t respond to the scene.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Tuesday at the City Park. Further, police were advised that a juvenile was burning paper near a pavilion. Police have a suspect and charges are currently pending at this time.
