Virginia M. Marnati, 77, of Hyde died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her home.
She was born Jan. 13, 1937 in Clearfield, the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Wood) Veihdeffer.
She retired from Berg Electronics after 20 years of service. She also volunteered at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Star Rockport, Ind. She was a lifetime member of the Goldwing Road Rider Association Chapter I Reynoldsville.
She’s survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Donald Marnati. She’s survived by four children, Duane and his wife, Susan Cross; Ronald and his wife, Sandy Cross; Myron and his wife, Janet and Brian Cross, all of the Evansville, Ind. area.
She’s survived by five step-children, Michelle Kelly of Hollidaysburg; Robin and her husband, Ray Bartges of Millheim; Charles Marnati of Gumboro, Del.; Kenneth Marnati of Pomeroy, Ohio; and Kimberly and her husband, Todd Gross of York; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Terry Veihdeffer of New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward Veihdeffer.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Monday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. Clearfield.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Father Brandon Kleckner officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
