Proceeds from the Remember When … Dance will be used to fund scholarships to graduating seniors of Clearfield Area High School who plan to attend post-secondary school.  Since its inception in 2011, a Class of 1975 Scholarship has been awarded to five graduating seniors.

The Class of 1975 Scholarship Fund is maintained through an account with the Clearfield County Charitable Foundation (CCCF), which provides a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) vehicle for donations to the scholarship fund, and a management structure so that the scholarship fund can be self-sustaining.

The criteria for the scholarship are (1) high scholastic achievement; (2) contributions to the community or school through involvement in community or school activities, or employment; and (3) acceptance at a two-, three- or four-year post-secondary program.  Financial need and whether the applicant is related to a 1975 classmate are taken into account, although they are not requirements for the scholarship.
