Hill wins Field Athlete of the Year, Alford-Sullivan Women’s Coach of the Year

On the strength of a season-best throw in the shot put at the Big Ten Championships, Penn State’s Darrell Hill (Philadelphia, Pa.) earned Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year and Big Ten Field Athlete of the Championships. Nittany Lion Head Coach and Director of Track and Field Beth Alford-Sullivan was named Big Ten Women’s Coach of the Year for the second straight year after leading Penn State to back-to-back outdoor titles.
