State Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) is back in the United States after spending most of the month of May in France on military orders with the 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Following nearly three weeks of training with multinational partners, his division staff took a staff ride Memorial Day weekend to trace the steps of their “Iron Division” predecessors from World War I.
He is pictured here at the Pennsylvania Memorial in Varennes-en-Argonne, France, where a ceremony was conducted to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
