Mary E. Krupelak, 78, of Clearfield died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1935 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late James A. Hoover Sr. and Twila (Mars) Hoover.
She retired from Kurtz Bros. in 1998 after 42 years of employment. She enjoyed tending to her flowers.
She is survived by her son, George Krupelak III of Clearfield; three granddaughters, Dakota Rae, Brooke Marie and Tayler Nichole; a sister, Dorothy Tibbens of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George ”Junnie” Krupelak Jr. on June 13, 2000 and whom she wed Sept. 16, 1961.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Hoover and Twila Shubert and four brothers, Ralph A. Hoover, Ray Hoover Sr., Paul Hoover and James A. Hoover Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
