LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into a fire that damaged a vacant residence on Putty Road at 9:11 a.m. Sunday in Lawrence Township, reported the state police at Ridgway.
The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Lawrence Township police investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire damaged a two-story vacant residence.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time, state police said. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact either the state police at Clearfield or the Lawrence Township police.
Damage is estimated at $10,000, according to state police. It was also noted that the victim was Lynn McBride of Clearfield; no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
