CLEARFIELD – “Singing Strings” will be the first performance in the 2014 Corner Concert Series, which starts at 7 p.m. May 30.

Brittany Peterson and Dan Bergman are a professional violin and guitar duo who have been playing together for several years. They perform at a variety of events, including weddings, private parties, company events and formal recitals.

While both are classically trained, they play a wide variety of music, including Celtic fiddling, classical, modern and classic rock. In fact, they even performed an entire Beatles wedding.

Both Dan and Brittany are music teachers in Clearfield.

The Corner Concerts this summer will raise money and awareness for the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre. The concerts will take place every Friday, weather permitting, in Shaw Park on the corner of East Market and Front streets in downtown Clearfield.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Donations will be collected during the concert. For more information, go to www.facebook.com/cornerconcerts.
