Project Stream Grant Funds Available for Arts Projects, Informational Workshops

WEST DECATUR – Project Stream Grant guidelines and application information are now available for non-profit organizations and individuals who wish to apply for support (up to $2,500) to fund an arts project with a public component during 2014-15.

Through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA), the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) is creating opportunities for arts projects through Project Stream grants, which take place between Sept. 1 and Aug. 31, 2015. The application deadline is June 20.

Galaxy, the Arts in Education Program of Central Intermediate Unit No. 10, will be supervising the grant application and dissemination process for projects taking place in Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, and Huntingdon counties.  Free informational workshops will be held at the Central Intermediate Unit No. 10 and Juniata College to discuss the application, grant writing process, and guidelines.

A workshop will be held Tuesday, at 7 p.m. in the Clinton room at the Central Intermediate Unit No. 10, located at 345 Link Rd., West Decatur.

In Huntingdon County, Juniata College will be hosting a workshop in the Brumbaugh Academic Center – C225, on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.  On Thursday, a workshop will be held at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven at 6:30 p.m.
