CLEARFIELD – All water traffic in the West Branch of the Susquehanna River has been suspended from the Rolling Stone Bridge in Covington Township to Karthaus until further notice, according to the Facebook page for Clearfield County Emergency Services.
Water traffic has been suspended due to search operations that are currently under way for a missing boater. People are asked to please avoid traveling on this area of the river in order for search operations to be carried out without interruption.
Clearfield County Emergency Services will notify the public when it is safe to resume river traffic.
