ROCKTON – A “Kids Fish for Fun” Derby will be held from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. June 7 at the Anderson Creek Sportsmen’s Club. The club is located at 976 Viaduct Rd., Rockton.
The derby is open to all children who are ages 12 and under and who are accompanied by an adult. It will introduce children to the sport of fishing during a catch-and-release day.
The derby will have bluegill, perch and bass. Also, there isn’t any cost to participate in the derby.
There will be hot dogs, chips and drinks, as well as many prizes. Prizes will be awarded for the youngest child to catch a fish, the longest fish and many more.
