Joseph A. Yusnukis Sr., 51, of DuBois died Monday, May 5, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born May 19, 1962, he was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (King) Yusnukis. He made his home with Brenda Smith.
He worked as a detailer at Stoltz Hyundai of DuBois for more than 10 years. Prior to that, he worked in his father’s business of Yusnukis Overhead Garage Doors for many years.
He was a member of the Olympic Athletic Club, the James J. Patterson Post No. 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Sandy Hose Co. No. 1 Fireman’s Club. He enjoyed playing pool and working on automobiles.
He is survived by his children, Jessica Walker and her husband, Richard of Wilcox, Joseph A. Yusnukis Jr. of Rossiter and Jason A. Yusnukis and Jeremy A. Yusnukis , both of DuBois; a sister, Patricia Witherow of Grampian; two brothers, Lawrence “Buck” Yusnukis of DuBois and Michael Yusnukis of Reynoldsville; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
