Jack O. Galentine, 74, of Luthersburg died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Oct. 9, 1939, he was the son of the late George V. and Lydia Mae (Marshall) Galentine.
On Jan. 24, 1960, he married Violet L. (Beatty) Galentine. She survives.
He worked for the United Electric Co-Op Inc. for more than 30 years. He enjoyed farming and traveling.
He’s survived by three children: Mike J. Galentine and his wife, Sandy and Glenn V. Galentine and his wife, Brenda, all of Luthersburg, and Kathy L. Isaac and her husband, Mike of Hillsville; a brother, Allen Galentine of Williamsport; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Kashella.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Fillman officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke’s United Church of Christ Cemetery.
