State police at Clearfield
- An incident of DUI occurred Friday on state Route 53 north of Oak Grove Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a 51-year-old Morrisdale man was stopped for a traffic violation and found under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the Clearfield barracks for blood testing. Charges are currently pending at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Lawrence Township Recreational Park.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the Lock Haven University Clearfield campus.
- Police received a report about a domestic dispute at a residence along Hollow Road.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a traffic stop.
- Police received a report about an incident of theft.
- Police checked the welfare of a resident on Clarendon Avenue.
DuBois City
- On Thursday, police received a report about an intoxicated male on West Scribner Avenue. Upon arrival police found the male extremely intoxicated and bleeding from his right hand. When asked, the male explained he’d punched a tree. After being treated for the injury, he was arrested for public drunkenness and placed in the Clearfield County Jail on a detainer.
- On Thursday, police received a report about a suspicious person in the 500 block of Maple Avenue. Further, a witness advised police he observed a male outside of his residence on two, different occasions. When confronted, he said the male ran away. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday, police received a report about an incident of fraud that occurred in the 300 block of Sandy Street. The victim told police that someone withdrew more than $400 from his bank account without his permission. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday, police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief at a business in the 300 block of Daly Street. The business owner advised police that sometime between closing the prior evening and opening that morning, someone smashed an outside light of the business. The incident remains under investigation.
- On Thursday, police received a report about alarms sounding at a business in the 400 block of Beaver Drive. Further, police received reports about alarms on two, different occasions. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
