During the month of March, Penelec employees in Clearfield, Philipsburg and DuBois raised money and collected food as part of the annual ‘Harvest for Hunger’ program.

This year employees raised more than $1,500 for local food banks.  Penelec began the Harvest for Hunger program in 2002 and locally have collected more than $17,000 over the past 13 years.

Area food pantries have been struggling to meet the increasing needs of local residents. Food pantries are in need of community support. For more information on how you can help, please call the CPCA at 814-765-1551.
