Herman E. Wisor, 65, of Mineral Springs died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
He was born Oct. 9, 1948, a son of the late Merrill and Bernice (Wisor) Wisor.
Mr. Wisor retired from Bayer Clothing, where he started in 1972. After his retirement, he had been employed at NAPA Auto in Philipsburg. Mr. Wisor was a member of the Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Wisor served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by four sisters, Carole Pry and her husband, Pastor Ken, Hope Casher and her husband, Charles and Crystal Wisor, all of Mineral Springs, and Beth Ann English and her husband, Brady of Hawk Run; three brothers, Barry Wisor and his wife, Bonnie and Hershel ‘Ted’ Wisor and his companion, Sandy Lewis, both of Woodland, and Patrick Wisor of Mineral Springs; a brother-in-law, Robert Lyle of Woodland; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lytle.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mineral Springs Bible Tabernacle Church, with Pastor Kenneth Pry officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 3:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
