REYNOLDSVILLE – Jeff Tech would like to congratulate Jacob Deshong on his second place overall win in the Clarion-Jefferson Regional Safe Driving Competition held on April 15 at the Heritage House in Brookville.
The Clarion-Jefferson Regional Teen Safe Driving Competition is held annually. This year nine schools competed with a total of 27 students participating in the event. Students who place first through third overall are awarded with prizes of $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place.
Driver Education instructor Rita Basile has been taking students from Jeff Tech to compete in this event for several years. DeShong will be eligible to compete in the state competition held on May 13 in Camp Hill.
