Lelia K. Okonski, 88, of DuBois died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born April 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. and N. Gertrude (Curry) Miller.
On July 17, 1946, she married Edward M. Okonski. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2002.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of the DuBois Country Club and enjoyed golfing, cards and sewing.
She’s survived by her children, Donald Okonski and his wife, Sherry, Janice Fleming and her husband, Thomas, Joan Kilmer and her husband, Michael and Patti Alvetro and her husband, Randy, all of DuBois; Jon Ed Okonski and Judith Catherman and her husband, Richard, both of Bellefonte; and Justin Okonski and his wife, Janet of Pittsburgh and one grandson, Henry.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Miller and a daughter, Nina.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
Private services will be held afterward with Fr. Daniel Kresinski officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery.
