Glenda F. Hummel, 77, of Clearfield died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Penn Highlands Health Care in Clearfield.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Madeline (Aveni) Wisor, born Sept. 10, 1936 in Clearfield. She married Robert Lee Hummel on Aug. 13, 1955 in Mineral Springs; he preceded her in death on April 10, 2001.
Mrs. Hummel was a member of the Calvary Church of God in Mineral Springs. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Jean Hummel; and an infant sister, Connie Wisor.
Mrs. Hummel is survived by a daughter, Marie O’Dell and her husband, Carl of Clearfield and two sons, Leonard L. Hummel of Kane and Ronald W. Hummel of Rossiter.
She’s survived by four sisters, Vera Parks and her husband, John, Alice Lumadue and Dorothy Maines and her husband, Pastor Sam Maines, all of Mineral Springs, and Elva Lumadue and her husband, Fay Lumadue of West Decatur.
She’s survived by five brothers, Marlin Wisor, Arthur Wisor, Marshall Wisor and his wife, Bonnie and Leonard Wisor and his wife, Lori, all of Mineral Springs, and Pastor Stanley Wisor and his wife, Diane of Bigler. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Christina Biancuzzo and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Joshua Maines, the Rev. Tyler Maines and Pastor Darl Ware officiating. Burial will be at the Summit Hill Cemetery in Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.
