PHILIPSBURG – Students at two Philipsburg-Osceola schools learned that they can play a role in helping to Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
PennDOT representatives visited the schools Thursday to talk with more than 250 third- and fourth-graders about litter.
Cassie Morey, Adopt a Highway/Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful coordinator for Cameron and Potter counties, was a special guest at the Philipsburg Elementary School and Osceola Mills Elementary School, along with troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Morey teaches “Trashy,” the Litter Bug that not properly disposing of trash can mean big trouble and asks Osceola Mills Elementary Principal Susan Pritchard-Harris to speak with him about his behavior.
